神秘的野人，全身長毛高大，手腳也很大、在世界各角落說法也各不相同。大部分居住在遠離人群的雪山、森林或叢林深山裡，聽說有人看過，一靠近，他們就會消失不見……
A mystic wildman is tall, large hands, large feet and the whole body is covered in hair. There are various versions in every corner of the world. Most of them are lived in snow mountains, forests, or jungles far away from the crowds. It's said that someone had seen it that they will disappear as soon as people get closer.

【小故事 01】在喜馬拉雅山脈邊的飛行體驗
【飛行體驗 01】
在尼泊爾旅行所使用的交通工具，一個是坐內陸段航空，比較節省時間，只要20~50分鐘；另外一個選擇是搭車，可以沿途看到當地民情風俗，但需要翻越幾座山，約5~6個小時。
想要看到喜馬拉雅山脈的風景，可以搭乘內陸航空的小飛機。有一次搭乘他們國內航空的飛機去欣賞喜馬拉雅山脈時，這台飛機的空姐服務很好、笑容甜美，但都要駝著背（因為空姐太高，機身太低）；甜美的空姐會發給每一個人棉花（當耳塞）與薄荷糖，而且可以依照客人喜好，很容易選到靠窗或靠走道的座位，因為飛機只有一個走道。

【Little Story 01】The flying experience on the edge of the Himalayas.
【The flying experience 01】
Transportation is used when traveling in Nepal; one is to take a domestic airplane for only 20~50 minutes that can save more time; the other one is to take a bus for 5~6 hours that can watch the local custom along the way but must over several mountains.
Taking the domestic small airplane could view the Himalayas scenery. Once, the flight attendants served very well and smile, however, she must bend down because she was too tall and the cabin height was too low while I was taking the domestic plane to view the Himalayas. The sweet flight attendant gave everyone cotton balls (as an earplug) and mint candy. Moreover, it was easily chosen the window or aisle seat by personal preferences due to only an aisle on the airplane.
【飛行體驗 02】
有一次飛行，在坐妥準備起飛時，大家嘰哩瓜啦地興奮地聊天，因為待會就可以看到喜馬拉雅山的山脈連峰。引擎發動了一陣子後，飛機一直沒有起飛。過了一會，機長開了窗戶，直接伸手撥轉螺旋槳，撥完左邊螺旋槳後，換右邊螺旋槳。突然間，大家一陣沉默，後來飛機總算開始起動滑行，這時候有一個媽媽，突然說：「等一下，我不要搭飛機了，錢也不用退給我了，我要下機了。」大家聽完之後哈哈大笑（是覺得也很緊張的苦笑，還是覺得那個媽媽的反應好笑）。
【The flying experience 02】
Once, the passengers were exciting and chatting while they seated and ready to take off because they immediately could view the Himalayas. The airplane still had not been taken off after the engine was starting for a while. A few minutes later, the captain opened the window to turn the propellers by hand. The propeller of the left side was done then changed to the right side. Suddenly, everyone was silent. Afterward, the flight started taxiing, however, at this moment there was a lady who said, " Wait. I do not take this flight and also do not need a refund. Let me get off this flight please." After hearing what she said that every passenger was laughing. (Was it a wry smile that felt very nervous, or felt funny of the lady's reaction?)
【飛行體驗 03】
有一次我們要體驗飛行喜馬拉雅山脈的山邊，在做好準備起飛（這次機長沒有用手撥轉螺旋槳），這時候，突然有一個爸爸匆忙地說：「等一下，我要先打電話。」大家跟他說，現在是不能打電話的。一問之下，他緊張地說：「因為我沒有跟我的兒子交代，我的保險箱密碼。」大家突然大笑（可能他的保險箱內有很多金銀珠寶）。
【The flying experience 03】
Once, we would experience flying on the edge of the Himalayas and the flight was preparing to take off. ( The captain did not turn the propellers by hands in this time.) Suddenly, a father hastily said, " Wait. I need to call." Every passenger told him that could not call now. Ask him the reason and he replied, "I did not tell the password of my safe to my son." That made everyone was laughing. (Maybe there is much treasure in his safe box.)

【飛行體驗 04】
想要更近距離感受到喜馬拉雅山脈的連峰就在身旁，也可以搭乘一種雙人滑翔機。這台滑翔機上只能坐兩個人，會有一個教練坐在我們旁邊。搭機前需要簽名。
PS：這張紙裡面寫了一堆英文，重點是‟有事自己負責”，就是所謂的切結書。
大家備妥後，穿上飛行專用的禦寒衣，戴上飛行安全帽，準備出發。出發時，小飛機會一台接著一台排隊起飛，原來這個跑道，也是一般國內班機的航道，都在同一個機場內的同一個跑道。
PS：下飛機也是一樣要排隊，如果下面有國內班機，我們一樣得在空中盤旋等待。
【The flying experience 04】
You also can take a microlight if you would like to feel the Himalayan range closer. It only carries on 2 passengers on this microlight which one is a coach who seated beside. It needs a signature before flying.
PS. This page is written in English as known as the affidavit letter which the point is " To take responsibility by yourself."
Wore the thermal flying suits and flying helmet then ready to go! The microlights were waiting in line to take off one after another. The reason is that this airstrip is also for general domestic airplanes using. These are all in the same airstrip and the airport.
PS. The microlights were waiting in line as well as landing. We still had to hover if there is any domestic flight on the airstrip.
開始之後，機身慢慢傾斜往上飛，這是很特別的體驗，因為可以感受到空氣就在身邊流動，好像騎著摩托車飛行；飛機離地後，身體慢慢傾斜，腳也開始離地，這時候突然開始緊張，為什麼沒事找事做，跑來搭滑翔機？開始有一點後悔，花了大把鈔票的美金，為了換一張不怕死的證明書。
在一次的飛行中，一般年輕人較偏向參加這種飛行體驗，其中有一位奶奶，堅持她一定要參加（也寫了切結書）。她說她最喜歡挑戰這種刺激的行程，大家勸她考慮清楚後，她還是堅持要體驗。她跟著大家開心換上裝備，排隊準備搭乘，等到滑翔機一台接著一台飛上天空，慢慢往喜馬拉雅山脈邊飛行。當看到連峰的這一刻，突然覺得這一切都值得了，可以這樣近距離的看到喜馬拉雅山脈的連峰。體驗完飛行之後，回到停機坪，奶奶非常興奮的說：「太好玩了，這輩子能玩這樣的體驗真是太值得了，如果我的孩子也在這裡，不可能讓我參加這樣的活動。」
「而且我偷偷告訴你們，我還有心臟病。」很想跟奶奶說，聽完您說的話，我們覺得快被您嚇出心臟病。
PS：其實我們不鼓勵有心臟病或特殊疾病的旅客參加這種飛行體驗。但是說實話，不得不敬佩這位奶奶的膽識，她其實是一個很樂於活在當下的人。
【飛行體驗 05】
有一次飛行中，教練問：「要不要體驗穿越雲朵的感覺？」話沒說完，眼前出現一大朵烏雲，還來不及回答，飛機就已經飛進烏雲裡；眼前一片灰濛濛、空氣非常寒冷，隱約還有閃電，突然聽到機身喀啦喀拉（機身抖動的聲音），這時教練交代，一定要握緊滑翔翼的平衡桿，不可偏掉。突然覺得「上天堂」就應該是這樣了，想著也不知道什麼時候、或能不能順利穿越這朵雲......
The microlight slowly took off upwards after departure. This was a special experience because could feel the airflow by the side. She was happy to put on equipment with everyone and lined up to get on board. Slowly flew to the edge of the Himalayan after microlights had taken off one by one. Everything was worth it when viewing the Himalayas range that was so closer. After finished the experience and back to the parking apron, the old lady was very excited and said, "That was so amazing. It was worth it to have this experience in my life. I cannot participate in such activity if my child was here."
“In addition, secretly tell you that I have heart disease.” After her words, I would like to say to the old lady that we almost had a heart attack because of you.
PS, We'd not encourage tourists who have heart or special diseases to participate in this kind of flying experience. But to be honest, it had to be admired the courage of this old lady's courage that she was the person who enjoyed living in the present.
【The flying experience 05】
Once, the coach asked, "Would like to have a feeling of through clouds?" The words were not over yet, suddenly, there was a dark cloud before the eyes. The microlight went into the dark cloud while could not time to reply. It was overcast, the air was very chilly and it seems lightning. The body of the microlight had a clickety-clacking which was the sound of the shaking body. At the moment, the coach taught that must be hold on tightly to the balance bar and not shifted. Suddenly felt that "Going to Heaven" should be like this and had no idea when or how would get rid of this dark cloud.

過了一陣子總算飛出來了，突然覺得命撿回來了。教練還問：「好玩嗎？」當時嚇得說不出話來。接著教練又說：「還想再體驗一次嗎？」來不及說不要，教練說：「前面又出現一朵雲，不是烏雲，是一朵像棉花糖一般的大白雲，是不一樣的體驗。」等不及說完，飛機又進入了一朵超級大的白雲內。
After a while, it finally flew out from the dark cloud and thought the life was still kept. The coach asked, "Have fun?", however, I could not answer this due to the frightening. Then the coach said, "Would like to experience it again?" Too late to say no, and the coach said, "There was a cloud in front but was not a dark one. It was alike cotton candy and was a different experience." The words were not over yet, the microlight went into a supergiant cloud again.
這次的體驗真的又不一樣。白雲裡面涼涼的、十分舒服，像是有很多水蒸氣迎面飛來，飛機也沒有發出奇怪的聲音，飛行十分平穩。在白雲裡面一片潔白，非常漂亮。這個感覺就比較像在「天堂」，剛剛那個感覺像是做壞事之後上的「天堂」，在白雲中飛行一陣子後，慢慢地穿越了這朵大白雲，最後飛機慢慢降回跑道上，這個體驗真的太特別了。
大家下機後，很興奮地在跟教練討論剛剛的飛行體驗，才發現原來不是每一次都有這樣的機會，可以體驗穿越雲朵的滋味。
It was really a different experience at this time. It felt cold and comfortable in the white cloud and it was like mist oncoming the face. The microlight also did not make any strange sound and flew was so stable. The inside of the white cloud was so white and very beautiful. This was almost more like paradise and the earlier of that was like after doing something bad. Slowly flew through the white cloud for a while, the microlight was slowly landing on the parking apron. This experience was really extraordinary.
After everyone got off the glider they were excited to discuss the flying experience with the coach. It turned out that not everyone could have this such as a chance of flying through the cloud experience.

【小常識】
有一家尼泊爾國內航空公司名字就叫做「Yeti」（雪人就叫做Yeti），公司的LOGO有一個大大的腳印，就是「雪人」的腳印。

藏人稱氂牛為「yak」，雪巴人稱雪人為「Yeti」，居住在喜馬拉雅山的雪巴人對雪人的傳說已有300多年。據說雪人體型龐大、全身長的白毛，能直立行走。
（1）18世紀中期，傳說西藏有人被雪人傷害，身上留下濃厚的氣味（應該是狐臭味）。
（2）19世紀，人們開始尋找雪人。
（3）19世紀，有一個加爾各答的上尉，單獨去喜馬拉雅山旅行，遇到暴風雪，又有嚴重的「雪盲」，在生命危急的時候，來了一個龐然大物幫他掩護、救了他，等到風雪過後，龐然大物離開，身上留下很重的氣味（應該也是狐臭味，猜測也是雪人）。

【小常識】雪盲
雪地上對日光的反射率將近 95 %，雖然在戶外視力不感覺有異常，但是長時間眼睛直視雪地反光，眼睛的視網膜受到強烈光線的刺激下，一進入屋內或正常光線的地方，就會眼前一片烏黑只看到影子或輪廓的症狀。這種症狀常發生在高山雪地。
若發生「雪盲」的症狀，可以先用眼罩或紗布覆蓋眼睛，不要勉強用眼，讓視力慢慢恢復適應正常亮度。一般輕微的雪盲症狀在幾個小時可恢復，比較嚴重24小時至3天內可恢復。
【故事】
［難忘健行初體驗］
（4）在19世紀，英國的探險隊，全副武裝到尼泊爾，請雪巴人當嚮導，在攀爬珠穆朗瑪峰的時候，發現了雪人的腳印，長約30公分。
（5）在60年代，有個寺廟的喇嘛送給外國人一個雪人的戴髮頭皮和皮毛，檢驗皮後，80%可能是羚羊皮，但是毛的色素粒子跟羚羊不同。
（PS：會不會就像豬皮與人皮的細胞結構相近，但卻是不同生物？）
（6）在60年代初期，尼泊爾政府立法保護雪人，禁止捕獵。
（7）在70年代，尼泊爾北部小村落，有一個雪巴族的少女與5隻犏牛被雪人攻擊。另外一個故事，是雪人救了一個被雪豹跟蹤、差點被攻擊的雪巴族的少女。傳說雪人時而溫柔，時而剽悍。其實跟人類一樣，他們也各有不同的個性。

【小故事 01】香格里拉
1933年暢銷英國小說《消失的地平線》，書中描寫一架飛機失事後，掉落在喜馬拉雅山一個神祕的山谷裡，宛如世外桃源，當地的居民純樸，信仰藏傳佛教，這個美麗又神秘的山谷，是當地人們心中的「香巴拉」，主角認為這個地方，就是他心目中的香格里拉。
在故事裡，男主角的名字叫康威，在山谷裡遇到一位美麗的年輕女子，並與她相戀。
在山谷裡過了一段日子之後，康威的同伴希望回到現實世界，當他把同伴送出山谷，打算回去的時候，卻發現找不到回去的路，還罹患失憶症。
當他失去記憶時，這個美麗的藏族女子因為愛情，走出山谷，並找到了他，她卻迅速衰老，在把康威送到醫院後，不久就去世了。
原來在這個山谷裡，人可以保持年輕；但是一但他們離開山谷，就會迅速衰老並死亡。這個女主角為了找他、救他，願意離開這個山谷。
因為這本書的介紹，開始讓很多人嚮往並尋找，但沒有確切的位置，這個區域包含西藏、雲南的中甸、四川稻城亞丁、尼泊爾以及不丹等地，都有可能是「香格里拉」。
在2001年，中國政府批准的「香格里拉」縣，就是現在的「中甸」。後來又批准的「香格里拉」鎮，就是「稻城亞丁」。
真正的「香格里拉」，到底在哪裡呢？這個答案沒有人知道。

After the snowstorm, the huge monster left but had a strong odor on the body. (It's should body odor, or guess it also was Yeti.)

【Knowledge】Snow blindness
Sunlight reflected from snow land is almost 95%, although does not feel any unusual in the outdoor. However, when looked the reflection of the snow land with long-term in the eyes the retinas are stimulated by strong sunlight then once entry to the indoor or a place with normal light that would happen the symptom to see a dark in front of the eyes or the shape of the objects. This symptom usually happens in high mountains with snow.
If it happened the snow blindness symptom you could cover the eyes with a blindfold or cheesecloth. Let your eyesight slowly adapt to the normal light and do not grudgingly use your eyes. Lightly symptoms tend to resolve gradually within several hours, and serious symptoms within over a day or 3 days.

（4）An English explore team wore the full equipment to go to Nepal in the 19th Century. They hired a Sherpa guide and discovered a Yeti's footprint which length was 30 cm while they were climbing Mount Everest.
（5）In the 60s there was a lama of the temple who gave a Yeti's scalp with hair and fur to an overseas person. That was 80% may be antelope fur after examine but the pigment particle of the fur was distinct from antelope.
( PS：Is the skin cell structure of pigs similar to human's but actually they are different species?)
（6）In the early 60s, the Nepal government legislated for the Yeti and prohibited hunting.
（7）In the 70s, a Sherpa girl and 5 dzos were attacked by a Yeti in a small village in northern Nepal. Another story was that the Yeti rescued a Sherpa girl who was followed and almost attacked by a snow leopard. The legend of Yeti is sometimes gentle and sometimes violent. They have a variety of character as like a human.

【Little story 01】Shangri-La
Lost Horizon is a 1933 bestseller novel. Plot summary of the book is after an aircraft crash landing in the hidden valley of the Himalayas where is like paradise—a place whose inhabitants pure and belief in Tibetan Buddhism. This beautiful and mysterious valley is believed as the Shambhala by local residents. The main character thought this place is the Shangri-La in his heart.
Conway is the main character of this novel who meets a beautiful young lady in the valley and he falls in love with her.
Conway's companion would like to return home to a world after living in the valley for a while. But he could not find the way to go back to the valley when he sent them away and planned to return. Also, he had amnesia.
This beautiful Tibetan young lady had left the valley and found him due to the love when he had been lost the memory. However, she was aging rapidly and died after she took Conway to the hospital.
The truth was the people who lived in the valley kept youth but once they left the valley that would be aging and death very soon. This Tibetan young lady was willing to leave the valley for finding and saving him.
It makes many people yearn and search the place where is without any clear location due to this introduction of the book. This area includes Tibetan, Zhongdian of Yunnan, Yading Daocheng of Sichuan, Nepal, Bhutan, and other places all of which maybe are the Shangri-La.
The government of China approved the “Shangri-La county” in 2001 which place is now “Zhongdian”. Afterward, it also approved the "Yading Daocheng" as the Shangri-La town.
Where is the real "Shangri-La"? Nobody knows this answer.
【小故事 02】與母雪人的奇遇
有一個傳說的故事，主角在飛行喜馬拉雅山的時候，因為氣流不穩，飛機墜落在山谷。當他從昏迷中醒來，隱約聞到類似動物的氣味（應該是類似狐臭？）但卻不知道是被誰所救。後來才發現，原來救他的是一個母雪人。
【Little story 02】Encounter with a female Yeti
There is a legend story in which the main character had an aircraft crash in a valley due to a zone of turbulence when he flew through the Himalayas. He vaguely smelled an odor that was similar to an animal (Was it may like the body odor?) when he waked out of the unconscious. But he did not know who saved him. Later, he found out that he was saved by a female Yeti.
後來不知道過了多少年，他與母雪人一起住在深山裡，母雪人生了一個女兒，但是他還是想回到文明的社會。他經常到河邊，思考著怎麼回到文明社會。有一天，他突然想到，順著河流游，也許可以到有人類的村落。於是他趁著母雪人不在的時候，跑到河流邊，開始往河的下游游泳，最後他順利逃了出來，回到了文明社會。
It did not know how many years passed the female Yeti and he lived in the remote mountain. he still would like to return to the civilization society, although, the female Yeti gave birth to a girl. He often went to the river and thought about how to return to the civilization society. One day, he suddenly thought he swam down the river maybe he would go back to the human village. So he went to and started to swim down the river when the female Yeti was not at home. Finally, he got a way out and returned to the civilization society.
PS：這兩個故事，都因為飛機墜落在美麗的山谷，到了世外桃源，一個運氣好，與藏族美女相戀，但是迷了路，回不去還得了失憶症。
另外一個運氣更好，被的母雪人所救，還與母雪人共組家庭，只是後來還是逃出來，回到文明社會。
PS：Both stories are because the aircraft crashed in a beautiful valley then arrived at a place that was like paradise. One was lucky to have a romance with a Tibetan beauty, however, he got lost that couldn't find the way back and also had amnesia.
The other one's luck was better which was saved by the female Yeti's and also had a family. Afterward, he ran away and returned to the civilization society.
